Free Starlink for Ratepayers: Gwanda Mayor’s Bill Payment Offer

Gwanda mayor Thulani Moyo has offered free Starlink internet kits to residents who pay most of their council bills.
The offer is for ratepayers who owe US$2 000 or more. To qualify, they must pay at least 75% of their bill.
“May I also bring in another appreciation token, pay 75% of a bill from US$2000 and above and get a free Starlink kit from the mayor’s office,” Moyo said.
The mayor added that residents who are fully paid up will also get free refuse bins.
Moyo said the rewards are meant to encourage ratepayers to pay on time and keep their accounts clean.
